Registration Cap Doubled to 128! Unified Tournament

The registration cap has been doubled to 128 for the Dracoviz x Unified team tournament. With over 300+ players, this is already the biggest single Dracoviz tournament in history.

We are partnering with NoFunPayneDunn to host a $600+ prize pool 3v3 Pokémon GO tournament using the new Dracoviz team tournament feature! Registration starts now until September 13th @ 11:59pm UTC.

The format is Open Great League BUT you cannot share a Pokémon of the same species with any of your teammates. To win, coordinate with your teammates and consider all of the new options available in the Max Out season update.

The top 4 of this tournament is a live-streamed event available on our twitch on October 26th. More details to come. In addition to $600, winners of this event will receive a special reward on their Dracoviz profile to commemorate their victory.

Make sure that at least 3 members of your team are available to join a voice chat on October 26th for the live finals match.

Registration

The event is capped at 128 teams – each with up to 5 members (3 players and 2 alternates). By registering for the event, you agree that at least three members are available to play at an agreed upon time on October 26th.

For Captains

  • Join the tournament on dracoviz.gg and select the “Captain” checkbox to create a new team.
  • Enter in your team name and hit submit. You will receive a team code to share with your teammates.
  • The order of your team matters – make sure to assign the positions for your starting roster of players using the “Manage Roster” button. Players cannot register teams of Pokémon until you do this.

Waitlisting

The tournament is capped at 64 teams. By a captain creating a team, they have reserved their spot in the tournament. You can join after the cap, but you will be waitlisted and receive a queue number. Make sure that all of your teammates are fully registered (including all six Pokémon) by September 13th @ 11:59pm GMT. If there are removals (teams not fully registered), we will add registered teams from the waitlist.

Removals

If three players have not registered their team of Pokémon by September 13th @ 11:59pm GMT then the entire team will be removed and replaced with a fully registered team on the waitlist.

For Players

  • Your captain will give you a team code to join their team. You will be prompted to enter the code when you press “Join Tournament”.
  • Press “Edit your Pokémon” to register your team of six Pokémon. Remember to coordinate with your teammates as none of you can share the same species of Pokémon. You need to have these locked in by September 13th @ 11:59pm UTC.

For Alternates

  • You still need to join the team using the team code from your captain!
  • While you do not need to register your team, make sure you are able to run the same teams of six Pokémon that your teammates have registered in case there is an emergency substitution. Full substitution rules can be found in the Discord.

Group Stages

On September 13th, the registered teams will be split into four groups. Each group will run a 4-round Swiss bracket, with the top team of each group moving on to the next stage of the tournament. Any team that completes all 5 rounds of Swiss, regardless of their standing, will receive a special item in their Dracoviz profile.

Each round, players will have one week to coordinate with their opponent, battle, and report their score. Rules for amount of games, tiebreaks, slow play, disputes, etc. can be found in the Discord. Players cannot change their teams between rounds of Swiss.

The final round of Swiss will conclude on October 19th @ 11:59pm UTC.
